There are times when my husband and I officiate a wedding, the couple will ask us not to mention God. We answer, “What if we substitute “Love” instead?” For that is what God really is, Love.
There is a beautiful verse in the Bible where God tells Moses to have the people “Make me a sanctuary so I may dwell among them.” But the original Hebrew actually says, “Make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell within them.” (Exodus 25:8)
God, Love, is really saying to each one of us, “Make me a sanctuary that I may dwell within you.” When Love, dwells within our sanctuary, it must be shared, for that is the very nature of God.
Our ascension journey, our inner work, our healing work, are the materials we use to create our sanctuary which is in the space of our heart.
Upcoming on August 9th is a Kabbalistic holiday called Tu B’Av. It is considered to be the highest point of the year energetically and is called the Holiday of Love.
