I have shared previously that my granddaughter, Solstice, now 3 ½ is enamored with ducks! The ducks of course feel her Love and always come to say hello whenever she and her brother, Skyler, 6 years old, visit from out of town. However, on a visit last week, the ducks still hadn’t made their appearance and there was only one more day until the children would be going back home.
Solstice was quite concerned about this but Skyler told her not to worry. He would send a message to the ducks and remind them to come! “How will you do that?” I asked him. “Oh easy,” Skyler replied. “I will just send them a message from my typewriter.” “You have a typewriter?” I wondered how he even knew about typewriters. Don’t kids today just know about keyboards?
Skyler went on to tell me that he has a typewriter in his brain. He also said that everyone actually has one and went on to describe it. It is very easy to use – just see the typewriter in your brain, type the message, pull out the paper and send it!
“Okay, I sent the paper to your ducks!” Skyler told Solstice and she happily went to sleep. And sure enough, the next day, the ducks came!
Well, I will certainly be using the typewriter in my brain from now on!!
💞Love, Lee
