Some people love cars, some to travel, some ancient books. I happen to love beautiful dishes! My mother, being a Southern belle, always set a beautiful table, so I did grow up with it. But it is something so much more. Creating a beautiful tablescape just brings me so much Joy! I suppose it is my way of being an artist.  And of course I love when we all gather around the table to dine together. I am not as enamored with the cooking part though!

When I told my sister a dear friend was gifting me a set of her dishes, she  just shook her head. Where will you put them? After all, I already have so many sets, but who is counting!  I told my sister there will always be room for more dishes! Plus these were special dishes as they were pink, one of my favorite colors, and of course coming from my friend!

It wasn’t until it was time to finally receive the dishes, that I learned how special they are. They were hand painted in France and have been in my friend’s family for close to 150 years, always treasured! Not having someone to hand down the dishes, she knew I would not only treasure them but use them!

When they first came, I was mesmerized with how beautiful they were and by the amazing energy that radiated from them!  I happily found a place for them in my display cabinet mingled with another set of pink dishes. Each time I pass by that  cabinet I am still filled with incredible Joy to see their Beauty. And that has become a daily gift of Joy!

The Arcturian Elders tell us: “Joy is a spark of the white Divine Light that is within each one of you… Joy is the energy, is the creative force that We tap into, that We utilize to bring healing, to raise the frequency of all projects that We have taken. It is inherent within you….”
