My granddaughter, Solstice, who just turned three, loves ducks. And they certainly love her! Every time Solstice comes to visit us, the ducks come to visit her! Somehow they just know that she is with us and come waddling up from the water. We always call out, “Solstice’s ducks are here!” Then she begins jumping up and down excitedly, “My ducks are here, my ducks are here!” Of course we drop everything we are doing so she can go outside to greet them.

The other day, I told a friend about Solstice’s ducks, of how the visits have been going on for a couple of years already. As I drove home and turned into my development, there was a mama duck with tiny ducklings following her. Now I have never seen ducks in that specific location and knew it was a special message for Solstice that they knew she was coming in a few days! It certainly made me smile!

Then just a couple of days later, there were tiny ducklings in my neighbor’s yard. Another message, Solstice’s ducks are here! I told them she will be here in a few more days but I don’t think they understand time!

When my neighbor saw after awhile that the Mama Duck still wasn’t with them, she took the seven ducklings into her home. They were still there when Solstice came to visit and she loved seeing the babies! Within two hours, the mama duck with two of her ducklings was spotted.  We were all thrilled the mama welcomed back her babies!

I looked up the meaning of ducks in “Animal Speak” by Ted Andrews, my go to for messages from the animal world.  I learned that ducks are known for their grace upon water and can help us handle our emotions with greater grace and comfort, teaching us how to maneuver through the various “waters of life.”

With the intense energies lately, this is certainly a timely message. Even lightworkers who are usually stable seem to be going through those lower emotional waves so they can be released. Thank you Solstice’s ducks for coming to help us all to maneuver through these rocky waters!

And as for the baby ducklings, thank you for the message of faith, rebirth, of new beginnings!
