double rainbow

So many of us have stories when a loved one transitions of the signs, the synchronicities, the messages. One of the gifts can be that we see our lives from a different perspective. We are brought into a different state of awareness, of consciousness… .

My Neighbor

I understood afterwards that it was from a nudge from the universe that I  message my neighbor across the street. I was surprised when she answered me. She hadn’t wanted any visitors or communication during her healing process over the past few months and I honored that. Her husband kept us updated.

I rarely stay up so late but I couldn’t sleep. What made me go into the front room and look out the window? I didn’t hear the sirens. But it was another nudge from the universe. As I joined the others already outside and my neighbor was taken into the ambulance, I already knew that her message four hours earlier was her way of saying goodbye. Even my inner knowing over the past two months said she was getting ready to leave. But still I hoped otherwise.

The next morning, what made me wait to go on my walk? It was an unusual time for me to do so. I again understood it was another nudge for precisely when I walked outside, so did my neighbor’s husband.

After we talked for awhile, I continued on my walk. On my way back, a neighbor who was also outside the night before, stopped in her car. We both said, what are the chances we would meet?

As I continued to walk home, two more neighbors had just come outside so one could share the news with the other. I stopped and we made plans to help the family.

I thought about how universe was busily orchestrating these meetings! “Of course, Lee!” I heard my neighbor say from heaven. We often discussed the magic from the universe and that would be exactly what she would always say!

As I came to my yard,  she reminded me that she would also say that there was always a rainbow over my house. She had the gift of seeing/sensing energy. Hmm..my last blog article just a few days ago, was about a child who also energetically saw a rainbow! I then understood the deeper message being transmitted to me of making invisible rainbows visible.

I will miss you, my beautiful friend!  Thank you for the gift of you, for the magic of you, for always being a rainbow in my life!
